Facing My Fears for a Life-Saving Cause
Wednesday 29th Apr
Some causes stay with you forever. For me, this is one of them.
Nineteen years ago, I gave birth to my daughter at just 29 weeks. It was a time filled with fear, hope, and uncertainty. The Children’s Air Ambulance was there if we needed them—a lifeline in the most critical moments.
Tragically, my daughter passed away before we ever got the chance to use their service. But knowing they were there… ready to help… is something I’ve never forgotten.
Today, I’m doing something completely out of my comfort zone to give back.
The Challenge
I’m taking on a skydive.
And yes—this is a big deal for me. I hate flying. I’m absolutely terrified of heights. The idea of jumping out of a plane? Honestly, it scares me more than I can put into words.
But some things matter more than fear.
Why I’m Doing This
The Children’s Air Ambulance provides a vital, life-saving service—transporting critically ill babies and children across the UK so they can get the urgent care they need.
Every second counts in those situations. Every flight can mean the difference between life and loss.
Even though my daughter never got to use this service, I know how important it is for families going through the unimaginable.
How You Can Help
If you’re able to support me, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every single pound raised will go toward helping this amazing service continue saving lives.

Doing It for Her—and for Others
This skydive isn’t just about facing my fears. It’s about remembering my daughter, honouring her, and helping other families get the support they so desperately need.
Every donation, no matter how small, truly makes a difference.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and being part of this with me ❤️
