I am raising money for the Air Ambulance service…
On the 18th November 2023 Dwayne, my wonderful godfather, was involved in a road collision as a pedestrian. The East Midlands paramedics and the Air Ambulance service teams were on the scene within minutes. Their job was to give him the best chance of survival and without their care and efforts he wouldn't have then received vital treatment at Coventry Walsgrave Hospital. Despite all of their best efforts, sadly Dwayne did not survive but this service is vital. We need to ensure that they can continue to run to be able to provide others with the best care.
The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions which means it needs our support. Therefore, on the year my lovely godfather would have turned 60, myself and the rest of Team Ginger have decided we are going to climb Snowdon in his memory. The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. The service is supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that they can reach those who need it - 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
As we all know too well, life doesn’t give any warning before it changes, and you never know when you might need the support.
Thank you! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
