I'm fundraising in support of Warwickshire Air Ambulance

In June I am taking part in the 1 mile swim in the great north swim to raise money for the Warwickshire air ambulance team. This will involve swimming a mile in lake Windermere. 

I am fundraising for Warwickshire Air ambulance as a few years ago there was a tragic accident in our family, the air ambulance attended and did everything possible. We are grateful for all the emergency services but this one always stands out. You never know when any of us may need help.

“Every day of the year, Your Local Air Ambulance (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire/Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. The critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day.

The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. They are supported by a Critical Care team meaning that they can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.”
