CPR Training

By Duncan Spencer

I'm raising vital funds in aid of my local air ambulance

Every day of the year, your local air ambulance (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire/Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day.

The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. We are supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that we can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.

Friday 1st May
I am giving a CPR demo at 7:00 pm on the 7th of May.
You can book a seat or just turn up. As this will be my first public CPR demo, I am hoping for a decent turn out. Hoping to see you there.

Demo for Kettering U3A

Tuesday 21st Apr
Today, I have completed a presentation to my largest single audience. The 2 hours just disappeared. We managed to get 6 through the practical CPR and using the AED. The aim is to get more people to start CPR and I am confident that the goal has been achieved.

We raise £102 in cash donations

Thanks to you ALL

Hopefully we can reach another community

Tuesday 24th Mar
This weekend Richard and I will be giving a CPR and AED demonstration to the members of a mosque in Leicester. All this and training Scout Leaders from the Kettering area in the morning. Busy day planned.
Wish us luck. Thanks to all who have donated. Duncan

CPR and the Wednesday group

Wednesday 25th Feb
Today the Wednesday home ed group took part in a CPR and AED demo and exercise led by myself.
I had a great time as ALL the youngsters took part, including a toddler. With their help I have now got past the half way marker on this my first attempt  to raise money for the Air Ambulance. Thanks again.
