I'm taking on The Golden Hour Challenge to support Your Local Air Ambulance
The Golden Hour Challenge celebrates the arrival of Spring, when longer daylight hours allow air ambulance helicopters to fly for longer.
The hour also represents the Golden Hour in emergency response and while The Air Ambulance Service always try to reach patients as quickly as possible, the Golden Hour nods to the importance of acting quickly, as timely medical intervention can dramatically improve outcomes for patients with traumatic injuries.
