Why Take Part?

When a critically ill baby or child needs specialist treatment, they may need to travel hundreds of miles to reach the right hospital.
By taking on this challenge and fundraising, you’ll help National Children’s Air Ambulance make more lifesaving transfers.

Every mile you run could help us be there for a critically ill baby or child and family facing their most difficult day.

Run to make a difference.
Whether you're a seasoned runner or training for your first marathon, this is your chance to take on a meaningful challenge for a lifesaving cause.

With time to train and support along the way, The London Marathon is a great goal for anyone looking to challenge themselves and do something positive.

You don't need to be the fastest runner - you just need the determination to take on the challenge and cross the finish line knowing your effort, training and fundraising have helped support the National Children's Air Ambulance.

The suggested fundraising target could help us to:

- Ensure we have medical air onboard which is used to support premature babies and patients with cardiac conditions
- Pay towards fuel to power our next mission
- Fund oxygen onboard our helicopters and in critical care cars to help babies and children to breathe
