Skydive Events Terms and Conditions 2026
For participants supporting The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS)
(Charity place, charity sponsorship, or mixed fundraising basis)
General Participation
- I understand that this event is organised by a third-party provider, not by The Air Ambulance Service (hereafter referred to as TAAS).
- I accept responsibility for reading and complying with any terms and conditions issued by the event organiser, including fulfilling any requests they make (e.g. providing emergency contact information by a specified date).
- I understand that any information I provide during registration will be shared with the event organiser, and by registering, I give my permission for this data to be shared.
Health & Safety
- I confirm that I am medically and physically fit, aged 18 or over, and that I participate in this event at my own risk.
- I can confirm I have read the restrictions on height and weight.
- I acknowledge that TAAS will not be held responsible for any injury or illness related to my training or participation in the event.
- I will complete the medical disclaimer form (115A). If I am unable to self-declare my fitness, I will seek medical advice and submit form 115B completed by a medical professional.
Insurance
- I understand that TAAS does not provide insurance for any fundraising activities I undertake.
- I am responsible for arranging appropriate insurance cover if required.
Registration & Fundraising Commitments
- I understand that registration does not include additional benefits; however, I will receive a TAAS-branded T-shirt for signing up (subject to availability).
- I commit to raising at least the fundraising target specified for my chosen option:
Jump for Free Option
- Raise £100 by 10th February 2026 to waive the £70 registration fee.
- Raise £450 by 1st May 2026 to confirm my place.
Self-Fund Option
- Pay £70 upfront and £190 by 1st May 2026.
- Fundraise a minimum of £190 by 1st May 2026.
I will collect and pay all additional funds raised to TAAS within four weeks of the event.
Fundraising Guidelines
- I will use my official fundraising page to raise money for TAAS.
- I understand that any money collected offline (e.g. cash donations or paper sponsorship forms) is held on trust, and I am legally obliged to ensure that TAAS receives these funds.
- I acknowledge that Gift Aid claims can take 8–10 weeks to be processed and received by TAAS from HMRC. Therefore, Gift Aid will not count towards my fundraising target.
Event Registration & Cancellation
- I understand that TAAS may need to share my information with the event organiser and, where necessary, with other third parties involved in the administration of the event.
- I will complete the event organiser’s registration process when contacted, as this is required to confirm my entry.
- I understand that failure to complete the organiser’s registration process by the specified deadline will result in cancellation of my place, and that registration fees are non-refundable.
- If I am unable to take part in the event, I will notify TAAS by email as soon as possible.
- Should I have to withdraw from the event, my donors may be entitled to a refund of their donations. In this instance, I would contribute towards the costs TAAS has incurred in purchasing a place for me.
- I understand that skydiving is weather dependent and that no guarantees can be made that the event will go ahead on the date I have signed up for. Should bad weather force the cancellation of my event, I will be offered the chance to transfer my place to another date and time of my choosing.
- I understand that the event may be rescheduled or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of TAAS or the event organiser. In such cases,
- I will be offered the opportunity to transfer my place to an alternative date, where possible.
Email Communications
I understand that I will receive emails from TAAS as part of the operational requirements for this event, including important updates, fundraising support, and logistical information.
If I choose to unsubscribe from these emails, I acknowledge that I may miss essential communications that could affect my ability to participate in the event.
Photography & Media Consent
I understand that photographs and/or video footage may be taken during the event. I give permission for TAAS and the event organiser to use these images for marketing, publicity, and promotional purposes, including on social media, websites, and printed materials. If I do not wish to be photographed, I will inform TAAS in advance.
Behaviour & Conduct
I agree to conduct myself in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the event. I understand that any behaviour deemed inappropriate or unsafe may result in my removal from the event and cancellation of my place.
Data Protection & Privacy
TAAS will handle my personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). My data will only be shared with third parties where necessary for the administration of the event.
Accessibility & Special Requirements
If I have any accessibility requirements or special needs, I will inform TAAS and/or the event organiser as early as possible so reasonable adjustments can be considered.
