I'm taking on Snowdon for Sunrise to support the National Children's Air Ambulance
The National Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients.
The charity receive no government funding for its daily missions. Your support keeps them flying, thank you.

First Climb Post!
Thursday 26th Mar On 6th June 2026, at midnight, I will be climbing Mount Snowdon alongside an incredible team of air paramedics, raising funds for Children’s Air Ambulance. This challenge is deeply personal for reasons most don't yet know.
One year ago, June 2025, the beautiful soul who was our youngest baby was born sleeping. It’s something we have carried quietly over the year — we told very few people at the time, as the pain was so raw and so private. Even now, it’s not easy to put into words but I will always remain grateful for those who supported us (and continue to do so).
The loss of a child changes everything and as a family, we changed forever. As a parent, I will never be the same mother or woman as I was. Holding them and saying goodbye is a grief that never truly leaves you.
The reality of life is that I wasn’t able to save my baby; my body was too broken and too shattered this time around. This is something it has took a long time to accept and a sad truth that I will always hold in my heart. After time, I have decided that in their memory, I want to build something that could now help save other childremn and honour their memory in the greatest way.
Children’s Air Ambulance carries critically ill babies and children, giving them the very best chance of survival when time is everything. The work they do is extraordinary but entirely reliant on donations — by supporting this cause, we can all help give more families hope in moments that matter most.
Every step I take up Snowdon in the darkness and the cold will not just be for my child, but for every child that may need help to survive. The climb will be for the life we didn’t get to live together, but the funds raised will prove that love that will always remain.
If you feel able to donate, share, or simply take a moment to read our story — thank you. It means more than I can ever explain.
In Baby Wilkinson's memory, let’s bloody well save as many children’s lives as possible 🤍 Share
