We're raising vital funds in aid of my local air ambulance in memory of Harrison Ballantyne.
On October 4th

Team Aspire

will be taking on a 20 mile hike through the Malvern Hills, in memory of Harrison Ballantyne
Harrison tragically lost his life 8 years ago and each year
Aspire Wellness Crick put on an event to keep his memory alive and raise some money for a charity chosen by his family. Originally a 5K run started by Sue (previous owner of Sweat), I am proud to continue this yearly tradition
Liz (Harrison’s mum) has selected The Air
Ambulance as the recipient of any raised funds:
‘The Air Ambulance is a charity very close to my heart, as they were deployed to the scene of Harrisons accident. Sadly they were unable to save him, but I believe that anyone at any time could need them so if there are funds raised my chosen charity would be them.’
Liz is still involved in campaigning for rail safety to be taught in every school by 2027. You can read more about Rail Safe Friendly at
www.railsafefriendly.com Keeping Harrison’s memory alive is so important to his family and the local community, this is what Liz had to say:
‘Thankyou so so much for organising this event in memory of my precious boy, we miss him every minute of every day and knowing he’s being remembered is very comforting.’
