I'm taking on the LDWA Autumn Forest Marathon in September to fundraise for YLAA
Your Local Air Ambulance are the air ambulance who went out to Dad, and did all they could for him. With fuel costs going up its getting harder to fund this much needed service. It costs £2300 per mission. I am taking on this challenge of the LDWA Autumn Forest Marathon in the hopes that I might raise some much needed funds. You never know when you might need them.
Every day of the year, Your Local Air Ambulance (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire/Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day.
The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. We are supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that we can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.
