I'm fundraising in support of Your Local Air Ambulance
On 21st February, I’ll be taking on the Nottingham Winter 10K - running the entire race in my full ambulance kit - in support of Your Local Air Ambulance.
This incredible charity supports Derbyshire, where I’ve been working as a Student Paramedic for the past two years. The air ambulance is a vital part of the pre-hospital emergency care we provide, delivering advanced, life-saving treatment at the scene when it matters most.
Every day of the year, Your Local Air Ambulance (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire / Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) helps save lives. Their teams of critical care paramedics, doctors, and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions every single day.
The service provides patients with the best possible chance of survival and recovery. With the support of a Critical Care Car, they can reach those in need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Crucially, the charity receives no government funding for its daily operations and relies entirely on donations to continue its work.
Any donation, no matter the size, is hugely appreciated and helps make a real difference. I’m grateful for the support of my parents, Emelia, Izzy, and Katie (who will be running with me), and I can’t wait to take on this challenge for such an important cause.

Saturday 21st Feb Thank you so so much for all of your donations it truly will make a difference!! Today was hot and definitely a tough run but so worth it.
