Help me to save more lives

I'm raising funds for my local air ambulance who saved my son's life when I had to call emergency services. Without their expert care my son would not have survived.  I cannot thank them enough.

I am setting off from Minehead  on Tuesday 17th June to walk to Lands End which almost 260 miles .  The elevation to Lands End from Minehead is approximately 50,000 ft of elevation.   (Everest is 28,000 ft).     

Please either sponsor me or support your  local air ambulance.  Warwickshire & Northamptonshire/Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland air ambulance critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day.

The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. They are supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that they can reach those who need it 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.

Camping on SWCP

Thursday 11th Sep
Throughout the challenge various accommodation solutions have been tried.  A few nights I tried out my one man single skin tent on a number nights.  It was challenging and wonderful at the same time with the tent poles bending and flapping in the increasing winds.  Views were spectacular.

Day 8 Westward Ho to Clovelley

Monday 7th Jul
A 12 mile hike with 2995 ft of elevation.   Plenty of up and down with a very misty start.   The woods were very slippery under foot and at times it was hard to see where the path was or even if there was a path.   Some climbing under and over trees.   In Clovelley the villagers receive their supplies via sledges which are kept at the top of the village.
