Every day of the year, Your Local Air Ambulance (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire/Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day.

The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. We are supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that we can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.

Climbing Snowdon at Sunrise for The Air Ambulance

Monday 27th Apr
My friend Marsha, sold this to me and now here  I am pledging to raise as much may as I can for The Air Ambulance, in turn for me climbing Snowdon for Sunrise, starting at 1am!
From November 24 - August 25, I suffered with bad health. I had 4 surgeries iunder general anaesthetic that time and recovery that lasted close to a year.
This weekend just gone (April 2026!) I received letters from different teams from the Hospital where I was being looked after, to say everything  wais back to normal and all where it should be.
So, I’ve decided to take this as a sign, to get my fitness levels back up and do something for me and to really tell myself health is wealth!

I want to do this, to prove to myself that you can get fit again with young children (is 2 , 5 & under still classed as young!?!)  to push myself to complete a hard challenge after a hard few years, both mentally and physically..
