GXO Logistics is raising money for the National Children’s Air Ambulance (NCAA) because they believe every child deserves a fighting chance, regardless of the distance between them and the specialist care they need.
As a logistics leader, GXO understands better than anyone that when it comes to saving lives, every second counts. For critically ill babies and children, the NCAA serves as a "flying intensive care unit," moving approximately four times faster than a land ambulance to reach major trauma centres.
GXO’s partnership is driven by several heart warming priorities:
- A Vital Lifeline: The service provides a lifeline for families in their most critical moments, ensuring infants and children receive expert medical care that can mean the difference between life and death.
- A Commitment to Community: With over 150,000 colleagues across the UK, GXO chose the NCAA as their Charity of the Year to support the very communities where their teams live and work.
- Filling a Critical Gap: Because the charity receives no government funding, it relies entirely on voluntary donations to stay airborne. GXO teams are using creative ways—from nationwide raffles to mascot tours—to ensure these life-saving missions never stop.
By raising these funds, GXO is helping to deliver hope to families across the country, ensuring that help is always just a flight away.
