Help Us Save Lives

Over the past 10 years, the Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) has attended over 1000 missions.
 
The national service is changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care and works alongside 11 clinical partner teams across the UK providing a high-speed transfer service for critically ill babies and children - flying them from local hospitals to specialist paediatric and neonatal treatment centres. Our helicopters travel four times faster than a land ambulance, minimising travel risk for our young patients.
 
We receive no government or National Lottery funding for our lifesaving missions and rely entirely on voluntary donations to raise the £3,600 needed for every vital mission.

Is there a sign up fee and a minimum fundraising target?

There is no sign-up fee to take part but we do ask that each student makes a suggested donation of £1 to take part. The School can either use the fundraising platform provided or collect donations in school to send in to us at the end of the event. 

When should we host our Big Wear It Green Day?

Its been a loooooooong slog making it through Winter so we’re inviting you to add a splash of colour at any time in the run up to the Easter Holdays, to hold your day when it best suits you.

We’re unable to host a Big Wear it Green Day, is there anything else we can do?

You bet! There are loads of activities you can do to raise funds for our lifesaving services. From bake sales, quizzes, sponsored events or school discos; the choice really is yours.  Need more inspiration? Get in touch with a member of our team.
