About the School's Santa Fun Run

DECEMBER 2024

Secure your school’s place on Santa’s nice list by signing-up to take part in our Santa Fun Run. Dash through the playground with the children to bring in some festive cheer and raise money to support The Children's Air Ambulance Service.

Choose to walk, jog or run with your students, choose a distance to suit you and complete your Santa Fun Run in December.

Register and you will receive Santa headbands* (pictured here) for your students to decorate, a fundraising pack with lots of useful items to aid your fundraising and access to downloadable items to make your fundraising a festive success.

There’s no minimum sponsorship required but we suggest each child donates £1 to take part.

Help Us Save Lives

Over the past 10 years, the Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) has attended over 1000 missions.
 
The national service is changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care and works alongside 11 clinical partner teams across the UK providing a high-speed transfer service for critically ill babies and children - flying them from local hospitals to specialist paediatric and neonatal treatment centres. Our helicopters travel four times faster than a land ambulance, minimising travel risk for our young patients.
 
We receive no government or National Lottery funding for our lifesaving missions and rely entirely on voluntary donations to raise the £3,600 needed for every vital mission.

Frequently Ask Questions

Is there a sign up fee and a minimum fundraising target?

There is no sign-up fee to take part but we do ask that each student makes a suggested donation of £1 to take part. The School can collect the donations to send in to us at the end of the event.  We have provided sponsorship forms for the children to take home, so their friends and family can support them too, if they’d like to.

When should we host our Santa Fun Run?

Any time you like during the month of December, or earlier if that works better for the school.

How many headbands can we request?

You can request the amount of headbands required for your class.  Our stock is limited and the headbands will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
